This is the first day of our marathon 10 day tour of california in which we visited 8 theme parks in 10 days along with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Muir Woods to see the redwoods.
Day 1 consists of our flight there, followed by a 2+ hour wait for the rental car, which is ironically (on a trip that involved visiting 8 theme parks) the longest wait for a ride we had while in California. After this, we went to the Apple store in Cupertino, which for Apple nerds like us is kind of like going to Mecca. Lastly we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which was also really cool. I wish we had more time to spend there. I will say I was a bit underwhelmed by their great white shark, or as we thought of him, the great white guppy. Anyway, more photos will follow. We took gobs of photos and it’s going to take us a while to go through all of them and get them posted so keep an eye out for updates day by day.
